Teaching

The ICO is a centre of reference in cancer treatment, with experts of both national and international renown. This, together with the importance it gives to training, makes it a pioneer and a centre of prestige in the oncohaematological field.


The Teaching and Training Unit offers:

  • Multidisciplinary education programmes in pre- and postgraduate and specialised training areas.
  • Training placements at the different units of the ICO centres.
  • Internships for schools and certified education centres.


The educational offer covers different branches of knowledge in order to respond to the interests and needs of professionals and is developed through training of different types and duration: from practical workshops to university master's courses adapted to the new European Higher Education Area (EHEA). In addition, it has an exclusively online offer through the e-oncología programme.

The vocation of teaching is to share knowledge, which our professionals generate and apply daily, increasing its value by sharing it with and disseminating it to other institutions.

 

 

Course offer

The ICO offers teaching activities that encompass all aspects related to oncology, based on the experience and training of professionals and with national and international collaboration.The sessions are in-classroom, online or blended; grouped into courses, individual workshops and accessible master?s degree and postgraduate modules.The course methodology is participative and innovative and is based on experience and case resolution.
